Returns & Refunds policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through airiron.ch.
1. Switzerland – Change of Mind
For customers purchasing in Switzerland, Air Iron does not offer a general voluntary right of return or refund for change-of-mind purchases, unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
This means that a customer is generally not entitled to return a correctly delivered, non-defective product solely because they:
changed their mind;
no longer want the product;
ordered the wrong product; or
no longer need the product.
This does not affect rights relating to defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered products.
2. Mandatory Withdrawal Rights
Where mandatory consumer legislation grants a customer a statutory right of withdrawal, Air Iron will respect that right.
In particular, consumers covered by applicable European distance-selling legislation may generally have the right to withdraw from an eligible online purchase within 14 days from receiving the goods, without having to provide a reason.
Any mandatory exceptions to the right of withdrawal remain applicable.
3. How to Request a Return
Where a return is permitted, the customer must contact:
The request should include:
the customer's name;
order number;
product concerned;
reason for the return or nature of the issue; and
photographs or other evidence where relevant.
Customers should not send products back before receiving return instructions from Air Iron.
4. Condition of Returned Products
For change-of-mind returns permitted under mandatory law, customers may inspect the product only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
Products should be returned complete and, where reasonably possible, with their original packaging, accessories, manuals and included components.
Where permitted by applicable law, the customer may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product.
5. Return Shipping Costs
For permitted change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product, unless mandatory law requires otherwise or Air Iron expressly agrees to cover the cost.
The customer is responsible for appropriately packaging the returned product.
We recommend using a traceable shipping method.
6. Defective Products
If a product is defective, the customer should contact support@airiron.ch and provide the order number, a description of the defect and reasonable supporting evidence such as photographs or video where appropriate.
We may request reasonable troubleshooting or additional information before determining the appropriate solution.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the remedy may include:
repair;
replacement;
price reduction; or
refund.
Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If a product arrives damaged, incomplete or different from what was ordered, please contact support@airiron.ch as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Please provide photographs of the product and, where relevant, the shipping packaging.
Where Air Iron confirms that an incorrect or damaged delivery is attributable to us, we will provide an appropriate solution and, where legally required, bear the reasonable return or replacement shipping costs.
8. Refunds
Once a return has been received and, where appropriate, inspected, we will determine whether a refund is due.
Approved refunds will normally be issued using the original payment method, unless another method is agreed or required.
After a refund has been initiated, the time required for the funds to appear may depend on the customer's bank, card issuer or payment provider.
Where required by applicable law, refunds will be processed within the legally prescribed period.
9. Original Shipping Costs
Where a statutory withdrawal right requires reimbursement of standard delivery charges, these will be refunded as required by applicable law.
Additional costs resulting from the customer's choice of a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery option do not have to be refunded where permitted by law.
10. Refused and Undeliverable Shipments
If an order is returned because the customer provided incorrect delivery information, refused delivery, failed to collect the shipment or otherwise prevented delivery, reasonable shipping and handling costs may be deducted from any refund where permitted by law.
11. Abuse
Air Iron reserves the right to investigate suspected fraudulent or abusive return requests.
Nothing in this section permits Air Iron to refuse rights that customers are legally entitled to exercise.
